We think this is a lovely combination but we also think this would work in any of the Liberty Tana Lawns or Silks as well as the lighter crepes and viscose. The Wilder Gown pattern by the Friday Pattern Company is very versatile and if you invest £20 in buying a copy, we recommend making several variants in different fabrics giving you items you can wear to work, out to the pub, shopping etc. (Yes, those days will be back, we like to think positively!) This is the shirt version with longer sleeves; great to wear loose over trousers or tuck into jeans or tuck into a skirt. This is a fairly straightforward pattern which would also suit less experienced stitchers but don’t forget we can chat with you if you need us to get you started. We think this is a good pattern to buy with the intention of continued use.

Midnight Garden is a scrumptious 100% cotton with a lovely soft linen-type feel. 144cm wide. In this collection find Fans, Birds, Squares, Fans and Roses. You could mix and match to add contrast and interest. £18pm.

To make the item shown, Annette used just over a metre of Midnight Squares in an Extra Small which is around a size 6-8. You should always check the finished garment measurements on patterns.
